This is a program of the New England Wild Flower Society, a collaboration of professional and amateur botanists, state agencies, and conservation organizations in each New England State. Their goal is to conserve the region's endangered native flora.
Training for the field season is in February or March each year.
Volunteers needed: The organization is heavily dependent on Plant Conservation Volunteers (PVCs) for monitoring local populations of rare and endangered plants. Expertise is not required, just a will to help and learn new things.
