This is a website created by the RI Conservation Districts in collaboration with NRCS, to feature help for Rhode Islanders with natural resource concerns.
"Rhode Island's Conservation Districts are quasi-public agencies governed by local boards which exist to assist our state's landowners with conservation on their land. Conservation District staff work in partnership with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service to connect landowners with federal programs that can help them to practice conservation on their farm or forest land. Help is available with projects like seasonal high tunnels, pollinator habitat creation, forest management, nutrient management, and more! The Conservation Districts also support public and private lands statewide by providing educational programs, seedling sales, support for urban agriculture, and more!"
