"The Environment" is a dynamic, living whole, but we each approach it from different directions. You and I have different interests, concerns, abilities, skills. We have different points of view. Categorizing information helps us locate the stuff that's relevant. Providential Gardener provides a way to look at the environment in all of its facets, without losing sight of the whole.
This site brings all kinds of information about Rhode Island together and indexes it by the following 30+ very broad categories. Of course it would be nice to add subcategories to everything, but it's hard enough to find the time to round everything up and put them in these relatively few "buckets"!
Start with a general topic that interests you and click around on the links. My advice is to follow the things you care about and love the most.
