A surprising number of films are shown by nonprofits and libraries. This calendar brings them together, along with any book signings/readings, presentations by authors, and other literary events.

Every event concerning Rhode Island's environment can be added to What Grows On in Rhode Island! Listings are free, and will show up automatically on several websites as well, including Environment Council of RI. Links to the Calendar or subcalendars can be found on other websites as well. Appropriate events also show up on such websites.. Selected events -- or the Whole Shebang -- can show up on your website, too. [Hint, hint!] Ask me about this.

What Grows On in RI was recognized in Rhode Island Monthly's Best of Rhode Island listings as "Website for Green Fun" on page 126 of the August 2013 issue!
"…What Grows On offers up a comprehensive calendar of all-things green, from farmers markets across the state -- including ones you've never even heard of -- to birding excursions, heirloom tomato classes and river clean-ups. Plan your eco-chic weekend via the 'Everything' calendar, or sort through garden or kid-friendly events. The planet will thank you later."
Thank you, Rhode Island Monthly, for the recognition!
