Imagine kindergarten classes held outside in ALL kinds of weather, all day, everyday! Forest kindergartens are taking root in many European countries to generally rave reviews from parents and pediatricians, according to a story in GoLocalProv by Julia Steiny. 

Some advantages noted include:

  • Better social skills

Julia Steiny's interest in such a different way to educate young children was stimulated by a trailer for the film, Lessons from a Forest Kindergarten.
