What did the General Assembly do this year for Rhode Island's environment? I've found a few summaries from RI environmental organizations, and I hope you will take a moment to glance through them.
Especially noteworthy is the failure of our elected legislators to adequately fund public transit, which is critically important to both the environment and our economy. We all have to keep asking them why this extensively researched problem with that is widely recognized as a major problem for out state is completely ignored. I know I am waiting for an answer to a letter I wrote.
